Weimo Feng's inspiration for Ad Jinli stemmed from the need for a comprehensive reconstruction of urban architecture. The design and implementation of the building facade, interior design, and soft decoration display have resulted in a space that not only serves its primary function as a sales center but also contributes to the social fabric of the city.
Located at a city intersection, Ad Jinli stands out with its unique design properties. The designer has sculpted the building to enhance its visual appeal, using light as a key element. The solid wall facade shields the indoor space from the noise of the urban main road, while the space left at the bottom ensures adequate lighting and privacy.
The design realization technology used in Ad Jinli includes terrazzo for the ground, marble and wood facing for the walls, and gypsum board and wood grain aluminum board for the ceiling. With a building area of 800 square meters, the design exudes warmth, comfort, brightness, and a blend of culture and art.
The project was designed in Shanghai on December 1, 2018, and completed in Linyi on May 1, 2019. One of the key challenges faced by the designer was to ensure that the building and interior brought warmth to the city once the building's sales function was over. This was achieved by incorporating a bookstore into the design, which could serve as a new public space after the completion of the sales function.
Ad Jinli is a testament to Weimo Feng's commitment to sustainable development and urban renewal. By transforming old city buildings to meet new functional requirements, the designer has not only created a modern style space but also contributed to the city's cultural and social landscape. This project is a shining example of how innovative design can breathe new life into urban architecture.
